A photowalk through my neighborhood in Paros during the off-season, I discovered a different side of the island, away from the bustling tourist crowds. Capturing the essence of winter, I focused my lens on the closed hotels that stand silent and serene in anticipation of the warmer months. Despite their vacancy, these establishments exude a quiet charm, their shuttered windows and empty courtyards offering a glimpse into a tranquil and introspective period of island life. As I meandered through the streets, each photograph became a testament to the cyclical nature of tourism and the transient beauty found in the ebb and flow of seasonal rhythms.
